Al LaMorey, Prison Ministry

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

Al spends most of his days in a place the rest of us only see from the outside—the New Hampshire prison system. Praise God that his ability to ‘move’ behind the walls of the prison is still allowed even as administrations have changed.

Al conducts weekly Bible studies in the State Prison and at County Correctional Facilities. He visits with inmates, counseling and discipling when necessary. He provides Bibles and a fresh look at life. Al also recruits other church workers to assist in the ministry and tries to plug released inmates into local churches.
